The Annual General Meeting of the Club is a very important part of the club calendar.
Your Club Committee have been working hard over the past year to revise the Club Constitution so that it is up to date and reflects the current legal requirements for Incorporated Societies.
In the main the revision has put the Constitution into ‘plain English’ as far as possible and removed ambiguity.
There have been significant additions or changes dealing with:-
Here is a draft copy of the revised Constitution, we ask that you read it and encourage you to come along to the AGM with your comments. To view this document you may need Adobe Reader.
At the AGM, a resolution will be put to the club membership that the revised Constitution be adopted.
To vote at that AGM you must be a ‘financial’ member of the Titirangi Folk Music Club. If you are not sure of your financial status in this respect then please check with our treasurer Paul Howarth via our contacts page or Phone 638 9870.
So please support the committee by giving 40 minutes of your time and coming along to the AGM at 7pm. Wine and nibbles will be available.
If you have any other items of business you would like to raise at the AGM then it would be helpful if you would email them in advance of the AGM to the secretary Viv Allen via our contacts page or Phone 817 7164.

An exceptionally eclectic ensemble of floor performers in the first half, followed by.....

A busy West Auckland five piece group, specialising in music mostly from the English and Celtic traditions. Blending instruments such as the unique Northumbrian Smallpipes, violin, guitar, electric bass and accordion Westumbria's tune arrangements go from haunting airs that make your spine tingle to ‘flat out’ reels, jigs and polkas which will have your feet tapping. Their set will also include some songs which you can join in with..... so be sure to bring your singing voices along with you. With a full, rich sound and a varied repertoire from the band there will be ‘something for everybody’ so a good night is sure to be had by all!
An informal ‘Singaround’ when a smaller group of people meet to share their songs and music.
