A Traditional Welcome

to the 42^nd Auckland Folk Festival Kumeu Showgrounds from Friday January 23^rd – Monday 26^th 2015,

takes place in The Mill at 8.00PM on Friday Jan 23^rd.

Featuring - not necessarily in this order:-
- City of Auckland Morris Dancers – a lively and energetic side delighting with dances from the Cotswolds and Border regions of the UK.
- Sean Sinnott - Sean has played for many years around the Auckland area. Now it’s just a few gigs a year so don’t miss this chance to hear Auckland's very own Dublin ballad singer.
- Across the Great Divide – blend Celtic and Americana music using simple yet sensitive harmonization to create a tasteful celebration of the diversity of folk music in New Zealand.
- Victoria Vigenser - From the heart of folk tradition to 21st century originals, Victoria will entrance and entertain.
- Conor & Swigger - Swigger's English working class and Conors Irish heritage make for a broad mixture of songs played on guitar and banjo with vocals.
- SuperSheep - THE supergroup for lovers of a capella, traditional singing par excellence!
